The Galaxy S25 series, which is at least four months away from being unveiled by Samsung, is expected to be powered by a processor built on 3nm manufacturing technology. As usual, Samsung may release the new device in some countries with the Exynos 2500 processor and in others with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy processor. Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor is set to be introduced in October.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is almost certain to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, will not have an Exynos 2500 version. The Exynos version will only be available for the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ in some countries. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, with its performance, seems poised to surpass the iPhone 16 Pro model, which will be introduced by Apple.

Recently spotted on Geekbench tests, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor is likely to enable the Galaxy S25 Ultra to outperform the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max in terms of performance. According to the test results, the anticipated processor scores 2,884 points in the single-core test and 8,840 points in the multi-core test. These tests were conducted with 12GB of RAM on Geekbench 6.

Looking at the results, the processor achieves almost identical scores to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which scored 2,900 in single-core and 7,237 in multi-core tests. Compared to its predecessor, the Gen 3, the new processor offers up to 35% better performance.
